Titans Could Target 49ers' DT Kalia Davis

San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle Kalia Davis will become a free agent after the team decided not to tender him as a restricted free agent, making him a potential target for the Tennessee Titans.

Davis started all 17 regular-season games for the 49ers last season and set career-highs in combined tackles (28), tackles for loss (four), batted balls (three), and quarterback hits (two). The former sixth-round pick out of UCF was a surprise contributor who helped keep the injury-riddled defense afloat.

The Titans have been looking to add defensive linemen throughout the offseason after trading away T'Vondre Sweat, with both Sebastian Joseph-Day and James Lynch set to become unrestricted free agents. With multiple defensive line needs, Davis could be a cost-effective option for Tennessee to bolster their defensive front.
