Rahm Accuses European Tour of Extortion

Jon Rahm has accused the European Tour of extortion in their ongoing negotiations regarding his participation in LIV Golf events.

The Spanish golfer claims he and other LIV players are being pressured into signing two-way agreements that would prevent fines for participating in Saudi tournaments but require settling outstanding debts and playing a minimum number of European Tour events.

Specifically, Rahm is refusing to play more than the mandatory four tournaments required to maintain his tour card, rejecting the Tour's demand that he compete in six events, including two chosen by the organization.
