EspañolTexas A&M Soccer has added Icelandic midfielder Brynja Knudsen to its 2026 roster, becoming only the second Icelandic player in program history. Knudsen, who has 12 caps for Iceland’s youth national teams and played in the country’s top league, will strengthen the Aggies’ midfield.
Head coach Bobby Shuttleworth praised Knudsen’s technical ability and competitive mentality, saying she will be a valuable contributor on and off the field. She joins former Aggie Ásdís Halldórsdóttir as the only Icelandic players to represent the Maroon and White.
