Knueppel Breaks NBA Rookie 3-Point Record

Charlotte Hornets forward Kon Knueppel has broken the NBA rookie record for most 3-pointers made in a single season, surpassing Keegan Murray's previous mark of 206.

Knueppel tied Murray's record during Saturday's game, making his fifth three-pointer of the contest in the first half. The rookie sharpshooter went 5-for-8 from beyond the arc in the opening frame, though he narrowly missed a potential record-breaking shot just before halftime.

The previous record of 206 three-pointers was set by Keegan Murray of the Sacramento Kings during the 2022-23 season.
