Jacksonville’s 2025 season finished with the league’s top run defense, but the team still lacks a steady interior pass rush. Pro Football Focus analyst Ryan Smith says the ideal pick would be a defensive tackle who can dominate the run and pressure the quarterback.
Smith points to Georgia’s 6‑ft‑4, 310‑lb tackle Christen Miller, who posted a 90.2 PFF run‑defense grade in 2025 and an 11.3 pass‑rush win rate. With 1,031 defensive snaps over three seasons, Miller has 38 pressures and a sack, and is ranked fifth among defensive tackles on Mel Kiper’s board. Though he may fall to the Jaguars later in round one, he would add depth and a pass‑rush edge to the unit.
