Notre Dame defensive lineman Elijah Hughes lifts over 600 pounds

There's very little related to college football happening this time of year, but you can watch Notre Dame Fighting Irish defensive lineman Elijah Hughes lift 610 pounds and think about what he can do for the defense this fall.

The rising senior has 2.5 sacks and 21 tackles in 27 career games for the Irish. He played in 12 games last year.

He had 14 solo tackles and 7 assists in 2025.
