Perfect Miami survives scare after coach's outburst

No. 21 Miami (OH) rallied from a nine-point deficit to defeat Western Michigan 69-67, extending their perfect season to 29-0 despite head coach Travis Steele receiving a technical foul after sending a speaker flying during a halftime outburst.

The RedHawks, who remain the lone unbeaten team in Division I men's college basketball, trailed at the half for the sixth time this season before mounting a comeback. Coach Steele's emotional display came after he was held back by staff while arguing with officials, culminating in him throwing a speaker before entering the locker room.

Despite the distraction, Miami responded with a strong second half to secure their 16th MAC conference victory.
