Xavi in line for international coaching role

Xavi is reportedly the leading candidate for a top international coaching position just months before the World Cup, as he weighs up a managerial return two years after leaving Barcelona.

The Spaniard has been unemployed since being sacked by Barcelona in 2024, just weeks after he had performed a dramatic U-turn to stay at the club.

With the World Cup approaching, Xavi is now considering a return to management with an international team.
