Sutton hails Motherwell as best team in Britain

Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has hailed Motherwell as the best team he has watched this season, north and south of the border. Sutton believes manager Jens Berthel Askou has masterminded a remarkable transformation, noting their record-breaking defensive display. With a defence better than Europe's elite and Tawanda Maswanhise leading the scoring charts, the Steelmen sit fourth and are challenging for the title.

“I wouldn’t rule Motherwell out,” Sutton said on Sky Sports. “I think they have a phenomenal coach, and for him to come up here... they have been an absolute joy to watch.” He even suggested the Steelmen could secure a result at Celtic Park.
