Stevens Backs Mazzulla, Surging Celtics

Brad Stevens, Celtics president of basketball operations, has expressed confidence in coach Joe Mazzulla and the team's success this season. Despite early skepticism following roster changes and last season's playoff collapse, Boston has gone 41-20 with the NBA's second-best net rating.

"I don't put a ceiling on us ever," Stevens told The Boston Globe. He credited players for embracing new roles and the coaching staff for defining those roles. Stevens praised Mazzulla's competitiveness, intelligence, work ethic, and relationship-building as key factors. With Jayson Tatum expected to return soon, the Celtics may improve even further.
