Rockford to Host 2027 Women’s Baseball World Cup Finals

The World Baseball Softball Confederation announced that Rockford, Illinois, will host the 2027 Women’s Baseball World Cup Finals at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park from July 19-25. The city also hosted the Group Stage in July 2026, marking the first time the event has been held in Illinois.

The finals will crown the world’s best women’s baseball team, following Japan’s seven‑year streak and Team USA’s early titles. Rockford’s commitment to women’s baseball and its upgraded Beyer Stadium underscore the city’s status as a premier baseball destination.
