Conceived less than a year ago by Funny or Die alums Ben Bayouth, Adam Aseraf and Christian Heuer, Old Ball has quickly become a viral sensation. Bayouth operates and voices the animatronic basketball, while Heuer and Aseraf serve as co-writers and producers under their Benched Studios banner.

After starting small in Bayouth's home studio, Old Ball gained over 437,000 Instagram followers and nearly 247,000 TikTok followers. The character recently made headlines at All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, where two-time All-Star Joakim Noah was reportedly smitten with the basketball sensation.
