Okonkwo Cleared to Join Nigeria Super Eagles

FIFA has approved the nationality switch for Arthur Okonkwo, allowing the 1.98‑meter tall goalkeeper to don Nigeria’s colors. The Wrexham United first‑choice, who has played 31 matches and kept seven clean sheets this season, was born in England to Nigerian parents and previously represented England at U15–U18 levels. With the switch, Okonkwo could become a contender for the Super Eagles’ starting spot.
