NZ man jailed 26 years for 800kg cocaine attempt

A New Zealand man has been sentenced to 26 years in prison for attempting to smuggle more than 800 kilograms of cocaine into Western Australia.

He was caught only after his boat broke down, and authorities say he faces deportation upon release.
