Moore Gets Hearing to Challenge Arrest

Former Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore has been granted an evidentiary hearing next month to challenge the validity of his arrest.

Moore's attorney argued in court Tuesday that a detective failed to disclose that the alleged victim worked closely with Moore within the Michigan football program, which affected the probable cause for his arrest. The hearing is scheduled for March 2.

Moore was fired in December for an inappropriate relationship with a staff member and then arrested on charges including third-degree home invasion, stalking, and breaking and entering. He maintains his innocence.
