Heidi Weng Wins First World Cup Race Since 2022

Norwegian skier Heidi Weng secured her first individual World Cup victory since January 2022, winning a sprint finish over Frida Karlsson and Jessie Diggins.

Weng shook off the world elite during the 20km freestyle mass start, attempting to break away on the final lap. However, Karlsson and Diggins fought back to join the sprint, resulting in a thrilling three-way finish. Weng proved strongest in the final meters to take the win.
