Colorado Buffs Staff Shakeup Continues

Colorado Buffaloes football continues its staff overhaul as defensive coordinator Robert Livingston departs for the NFL's Denver Broncos, joining a long list of coaches leaving Deion Sanders' staff.

Colorado has lost 77 years of NFL coaching experience since March 2025, with the latest departure being defensive coordinator Robert Livingston. He joins the Broncos as their defensive pass game coordinator, adding to the significant turnover that includes new offensive coordinator Brennan Marion and defensive coordinator Chris Marve.

The Buffaloes will have multiple new position coaches in 2026, creating a challenging opening stretch. While Livingston's defense improved significantly in 2024, rising from 121st to 43rd in scoring defense, the team must now adapt to an almost entirely new coaching staff as they prepare for the season.
