Carrick Beat Larne, Coleraine Narrow Gap

Carrick Rangers defeated league leaders Larne 3-2, while Coleraine beat Ballymena United 1-0 to close the gap at the top of the Irish Premiership to just two points.

Carrick Rangers went 3-0 up through goals from Danny Gibson, Joe Crowe, and Paul Heatley before Larne responded with Tiarnan O'Connor and Dan Bent finding the net. At Coleraine Showgrounds, Will Patching's first-half goal secured a 1-0 victory against Ballymena.

The results mean Larne remain top but have just a two-point advantage over Coleraine, with the league leaders now without a win in their last three games.
