Canadiens Recall Bolduc, Struble for Capitals Game

The Montreal Canadiens are making lineup changes for Saturday's game against the Washington Capitals, recalling forwards Zachary Bolduc and defenseman Jayden Struble while scratching Alexandre Texier and Arber Xhekaj.

After dropping their first post-Olympic game, the Canadiens are adjusting their roster. Bolduc and Struble were both scratched for Montreal's 4-3 overtime loss to the New York Islanders on Thursday. Live coverage of Canadiens-Capitals begins at 7 p.m. ET on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.

The 23-year-old Bolduc has 10 goals and 13 assists in 57 games this season, while Struble, 24, has eight points—all assists—in 39 games. Montreal occupies the first Eastern Conference wild-card spot, four points clear of the Capitals, who have won three straight.
