Joao Mario scored the decisive goal in a 1-0 victory, with Brann reduced to ten men early in the match after Jacob Sorensen received a red card.

This win caps a recent turnaround for the Rossoblu, who have won three consecutive games. They will face either Roma or Freiburg in the next round.
