Nicolo Barella, 29, will start in Inter’s UEFA Champions League clash with Bodo/Glimt, stepping in for the injured Hakan Calhanoglu. Barella returned last weekend against Juventus after a minor knee injury, but picked up a yellow card in the second half.
With Calhanoglu sidelined by a long‑term muscle problem, Inter’s coach Cristian Chivu plans to use Barella as a deep‑lying playmaker, giving Piotr Zielinski some rest. Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Petar Sucic are expected to complete the midfield trio.
