Fukuzumi fastest at Suzuka Super Formula test

Toyota driver Nirei Fukuzumi topped the timesheets at the Suzuka Super Formula pre-season test, setting a benchmark of 1m36.290s.

Fukuzumi, driving for Rookie Racing after leaving KCMG, achieved the fastest lap on Thursday in dry conditions.

While Luke Browning escaped a crash at the famous 130R corner, Nakajima Racing's Igor Fraga finished second-fastest, 0.055s behind the new benchmark.
