It is the final week of the regular season for the Kentucky Wildcats as the college basketball season is quickly coming to a close. With several SEC Tournament seeds still in play for UK, tonight’s game with Texas A&M is a big one. That is why we should be hoping for an all-round great effort from this team tonight.
How do the Cats knock off a desperate Aggie team? It starts with the guard play. Otega Oweh gave the name of “the three-headed goat” to Denzel Aberdeen, Collin Chandler, and himself after the win over Vanderbilt, and they will need to play like it when they roll into College Station. Especially when it comes to ball-handling. The Aggies like to turn teams over, and if the Cats can replicate a similar performance as they did against the Commodores on Saturday, it should be a good night for the Cats.
Little did we think when SEC play kicked off that this team would have the chance to earn a double-bye in Nashville. Win tonight, and that becomes a very real possibility.
