Inter Milan stalwarts Hakan Calhanoglu and Francesco Acerbi could reportedly return to the starting lineup in tomorrow night’s clash against Como.
According to Sky Sport Italia via FCInterNews, the Turkish midfielder is in contention for his first competitive start since early January.
Hakan Calhanoglu returned to the scoresheet in Saturday’s 2-0 home win over Genoa in Serie A.
However, the 32-year-old scored off the bench, as Cristian Chivu refused to risk aggravating his condition.
Indeed, the former AC Milan star had been in the pits for nearly two months due to a calf injury.

In addition to Calhanoglu, Acerbi could also make the starting XI in domestic action for the first time since the previous Coppa Italia round.
Despite starting in Inter’s 3-1 defeat at Bodo/Glimt in the first leg of their Champions League playoff tie, Acerbi has not be regular in domestic competitions.
Still, the Italian veteran has often done well when given a chance to play, which could prompt Chivu to hand him a rare start tomorrow.
Meanwhile, he could take Manuel Akanji’s place in defense.
