Inter Milan have identified Bayern Munich’s Leon Goretzka and Liverpool’s Curtis Jones as targets for a summer midfield rebuild.
Especially with both players set to enter the final stages of their respective contracts.
According to Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, the pair feature on Inter’s shortlist as Cristian Chivu looks to freshen up his engine room ahead of next season.
Goretzka will leave Bayern as a free agent, while Jones enters the final year of his Liverpool deal, reducing his cost significantly.

Inter already tried to sign Jones in January but had their efforts rebuffed by the Merseyside club.
The report also touches on two other young players in Inter’s wider plans.
Aleksandar Stankovic continues to impress at Club Brugge, attracting Atletico Madrid’s attention, but Inter hold a buy-back clause of €23 million exercisable between July 1st and 15th.
Meanwhile, Valentin Carboni faces another lengthy spell on the sidelines after rupturing his right ACL at Racing Club, his second serious knee injury in as many years.
