The NFL has released a list of the top 101 available free agents this offseason, per NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal.
Four former Georgia Bulldogs were mentioned on the list, as each player was elite throughout their time in Athens. Rosenthal’s list includes superstar wide receiver George Pickens at No. 2, Nakobe Dean at No. 43, Quay Walker at No. 44, and Jamaree Salyer at No. 89. Each player excelled during their time in the NFL, as the former Bulldogs will more than likely land with a team in the early stages of free agency.
Here’s an inside look at the four former Georgia stars listed as top NFL free agents in 2026.
No. 2, WR George Pickens
George Pickens was widely regarded as one of the top receivers in the NFL during his first season with the Dallas Cowboys. The talented route runner was traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Cowboys prior to the 2025 campaign, as Pickens will more than likely continue to thrive with any team that lands him in free agency. The former Georgia star recorded an impressive 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns last year, as Pickens will more than likely pick up right where he left off next season regardless of what team he signs with.
The Cowboys are expected to place the franchise tag on Pickens to prevent him from entering free agency.
No. 43, LB Nakobe Dean
Nakobe Dean is considered to be one of the fastest linebackers in the entire NFL. The former Georgia star was elite on the Philadelphia Eagles’ defense last season, as Dean recorded two forced fumbles and four total sacks throughout the 2025 campaign. The star playmaker will more than likely sign with a team during the early stages of free agency, as Dean is expected to enter the 2026 season fully healthy after a multitude of injuries throughout 2025.
No. 44, LB Quay Walker
Quay Walker had an excellent season as a member of the Green Bay Packers in 2025. The former Bulldog recorded five pass deflections and 2.5 sacks last year, as Walker would quickly prove to be an excellent addition to a multitude of defensive units around the NFL. Walker is expected to draw interest from numerous teams around the league when free agency begins on March 11, as the former Georgia star has been great throughout his first four seasons (all with over 100 tackles) in the NFL.
No. 89, OL Jamaree Salyer
Jamaree Salyer has played a crucial role on the Los Angeles Chargers’ offensive line throughout the past four seasons. The talented big man would be an excellent fit on numerous offensive lines around the NFL, as Salyer is widely regarded as a top lineman available in free agency. The former Bulldog was elite during his time in Athens as well, as Salyer will more than likely have a contract in place rather quickly once free agency begins.
NFL free agency will begin on March 11th at 4 p.m. ET, as top former Georgia stars will more than likely draw interest from a multitude of teams around the league.
