Toyota Signs 13-Year-Old Keelan Harvick to Long-Term Deal

Toyota Racing Development has signed 13‑year‑old Keelan Harvick to a long‑term driver deal, aiming to develop him for the Cup Series.

Toyota Racing Development (TRD) announced Monday that 13‑year‑old Keelan Harvick, son of former Cup champion Kevin Harvick, has signed a long‑term driver contract. The move follows Harvick’s decision to focus on a NASCAR career after a karting incident in Italy highlighted the appeal of U.S. motorsports.

TRD will pair Harvick with RACKLEY W.A.R. and Kevin Harvick, Inc. for a nationwide late‑model schedule, with the 13‑year‑old driving the No. 62 Toyota Camry backed by ExxonMobil. The program aims to prepare him for the Cup Series and the 2031 Daytona 500.
