Pickens throws 11 K's as Tennessee tops UAB 6-1

Karlyn Pickens tossed a complete game with 11 strikeouts as Tennessee defeated UAB 6-1 in the Green and Gold Classic.

Pickens, 4-0, pitched a complete game, striking out 11 of 25 batters over 100 pitches, 76 strikes, and allowed one run in a 6-1 win over UAB at Mary Bowers Field.

The victory kept Tennessee undefeated and set the stage for the rest of the Green and Gold Classic.
