NBA legend LeBron James has begun construction on a lavish new Beverly Hills estate, more than two years after purchasing the property and tearing down the existing 1930s mansion. The former home of iconic actress Katharine Hepburn has been demolished to make way for James' custom-built palace.
The basketball superstar purchased the prime Beverly Hills location in September 2020 and immediately began plans for his own custom residence. The ongoing construction marks the next phase in transforming the historic property into a modern luxury home befitting one of the NBA's greatest players.
