Esteban Ocon responds to Ayao Komatsu's F1 2025 season review

Esteban Ocon has admitted he was not surprised by Haas team boss Ayao Komatsu's assessment that the team 'expected more' from him in 2025.

Ocon stated that Haas shared the blame for their poor season, noting Komatsu acknowledged the issues were a 50-50 split. He defended his performance by highlighting specific car problems, particularly front-locking under braking, which he claimed affected him but not his rookie teammate, Oliver Bearman.

Despite the criticism, the Frenchman pointed to his turnaround in Abu Dhabi as proof of his potential. He struggled on Friday before set-up changes allowed him to reach Q3 and finish seventh, outqualifying Bearman.
