Diggs Attorney Claims Charges Will Be Dropped

New England Patriots star Stefon Diggs pleaded not guilty to strangulation and assault charges, but his attorney claims the charges will be dropped.

Diggs appeared in Dedham District Court on Friday without speaking. His attorney, Mitchell Schuster, stated Diggs is completely innocent and believes prosecutors will drop the charges. The incident reportedly involved a dispute over unpaid wages.

Diggs was released on personal recognizance with a no-contact order. Schuster added that the allegations will not impact Diggs' future on the football field, and a pre-trial hearing is set for April.
