Canada's Homan Wins Curling Bronze

Canada's Rachel Homan captured the bronze medal in Olympic women's curling with a 10-7 victory over the United States' Team Tabitha Peterson at Milano Cortina 2026.

Team Homan broke open a tight game with three crucial points in the eighth end. After Peterson's triple takeout attempt fell short, only moving one stone, Homan made a perfect draw to give Canada an 8-5 lead. The U.S. battled back with two points in the ninth end, but Canada maintained their advantage to secure the bronze medal.

This victory marks Homan's first Olympic medal and ends Canada's 12-year wait for a women's curling medal since Jennifer Jones won gold in Sochi 2014. Homan has been dominant in recent years with a 198-31 record, two undefeated Scotties titles, back-to-back world championships, and six grand slam event victories.
