Cain Velasquez, the former UFC heavyweight champion who also wrestled in WWE and AAA, was granted early release from prison and is now on parole after serving 11 months for a shooting incident in 2022.
Velasquez pleaded no contest to attempted murder after shooting a man in a vehicle, mistakenly hitting the victim’s father. He was initially sentenced to five years but earned credit for 1,283 days, including house arrest.
