Arizona Women's Basketball Falls to Colorado 78-70

The Arizona women's basketball team suffered a 78-70 loss to Colorado on Saturday, despite forcing 25 turnovers and keeping the game close throughout.

Arizona had opportunities to win but couldn't capitalize on their defensive efforts. The Wildcats forced 25 turnovers, with Noelani Cornfield contributing six steals, but couldn't overcome Colorado's late fourth quarter surge.

Sumayah Sugapong led Arizona with strong early scoring, putting up the first eight points of the game and hitting multiple three-pointers. Despite cutting Colorado's lead to four at the end of the first quarter and trailing by just one at halftime, Arizona couldn't secure the victory as the Buffaloes pulled away late in the game.
