Diaz: Liverpool Exit Was 'Good Decision'

Former Liverpool winger Luis Diaz has defended his summer exit to Bayern Munich, calling the £65 million move 'a good decision' that brought happiness to him and his family.

The Colombian international, who has thrived in the Bundesliga with 19 goals and 15 assists this season, explained his decision to leave Liverpool was made with conviction. "When FC Bayern approached me, I knew from the very first moment that I wanted to make this move," Diaz told Sky Germany.

Liverpool sold the 27-year-old during a transition period under Arne Slot, but Diaz appears settled at Bayern where he's flourished in an attacking unit alongside Harry Kane. "Kane surprised me a lot... He's a machine," Diaz said, while acknowledging the adaptation challenges, particularly with the language. "Being happy is the most important thing for a player and his family."
