Rondale Moore's Death Under Investigation

NFL wide receiver Rondale Moore, 25, was found dead in a garage in Indiana on Feb. 21, with authorities investigating his death.

Former Purdue Boilermakers standout Moore was discovered with a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to New Albany police chief Todd Bailey. Floyd County coroner Matthew Tomlin confirmed Moore's death and stated the cause remains under investigation, with an autopsy scheduled for Sunday.

Moore, a second-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2021, played three seasons with the team before suffering knee injuries with the Atlanta Falcons in 2024 and Minnesota Vikings in 2025. Both the Vikings and NFLPA issued statements, expressing condolences and offering support resources to those affected by his passing.
