اتحاد السلة يعزز ثقافة النزاهة الرياضية

في خطوة جديدة تعكس التزامه الراسخ بتعزيز مبادئ الحوكمة الرشيدة وترسيخ قيم النزاهة والشفافية داخل المنظومة الرياضية، نظم الاتحاد القطري لكرة السلة، ورشة عمل متخصصة حول النزاهة الرياضية تحت شعار «معًا.. نلعب بعدالة، نتنافس باحترام، ونفوز بالنزاهة»، وذلك بالتعاون مع المركز الدولي للأمن الرياضي (ICSS)، واستضافها متحف قطر الأولمبي والرياضي 3-2-1 وسط حضور كبير من المسؤولين واللاعبين والكوادر الفنية والإدارية.
وشهدت الورشة حضور محمد بن سعد المغيصيب رئيس الاتحاد القطري لكرة السلة، و سعدون صباح الكواري أمين السر العام بالاتحاد ومدير المنتخبات الوطنية، والسيد أحمد يوسف الدرويش أمين السر العام المساعد بالاتحاد القطري لكرة السلة، والسيد ماسيميليانو مونتاناري الرئيس التنفيذي للمركز الدولي للأمن الرياضي (ICSS)، إلى جانب أعضاء مجلس إدارة الاتحاد
وتأتي هذه المبادرة في إطار إستراتيجية الاتحاد القطري لكرة السلة الهادفة إلى بناء بيئة رياضية قائمة على مبادئ العدالة والمساواة والشفافية،
كما تضمنت الفعالية جلسة حوارية تفاعلية أدارها الدكتور خالد القحطاني، بمشاركة السيد ماسيميليانو مونتاناري الرئيس التنفيذي للمركز الدولي للأمن الرياضي (ICSS)، حيث ناقش المتحدثون التحديات التي تواجه النزاهة الرياضية على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي، وأهمية رفع مستوى الوعي بين الرياضيين منذ المراحل السنية المبكرة.
وأشاد السيد ماسيميليانو مونتاناري ، بالتعاون المثمر مع الاتحاد القطري لكرة السلة، مؤكدًا أن هذه المبادرات التوعوية تمثل إحدى الركائز الأساسية لحماية مستقبل الرياضة وتعزيز الثقة في المنافسات الرياضية.
وفي ختام الفعالية، قام محمد بن سعد المغيصيب بتكريم السيد ماسيميليانو مونتاناري الرئيس التنفيذي للمركز الدولي للأمن الرياضي (ICSS)، والسيد صلاح الدين زكي خالد ممثل منظمة اليونسكو لدى دول الخليج العربية واليمن ومدير مكتب اليونسكو بالدوحة، والسيد دانيال براون نائب مدير متحف قطر الأولمبي والرياضي 3-2-1 لشؤون العمليات، تقديرًا لجهودهم وإسهاماتهم في إنجاح هذه المبادرة النوعية.
ومن جهته، أكد محمد المغيصيب، أن الاتحاد القطري لكرة السلة يضع مكافحة التلاعب بالمباريات وتعزيز النزاهة الرياضية في مقدمة أولوياته الإستراتيجية، انطلاقًا من مسؤوليته في حماية اللعبة وتطويرها وفق أفضل الممارسات الدولية.
وقال: «نتقدم بالشكر إلى المركز الدولي للأمن الرياضي (ICSS)، ومتحف قطر الأولمبي والرياضي 3-2-1 وجميع الشركاء الذين ساهموا في إنجاح هذه المبادرة المهمة. إن نشر ثقافة النزاهة والعدالة الرياضية يعد من أهم أهداف الاتحاد، ونعمل بشكل مستمر

London: Wimbledon's prize money pot has been increased by 20 percent to a tournament-record figure of £64.2 million ($85.7 million).

All England Club chiefs revealed the substantial cash boost for players during a pre-tournament press conference on Thursday. solvita.blog

The Wimbledon singles' champions will now pocket £3.6million each.

Italy's Jannik Sinner is the reigning men's champion, while Poland's Iga Swiatek won the women's event last year.

Even first round losers will be richly compensated at Wimbledon this year, with £80,000 allocated to players beaten at that stage.

The Wimbledon raise comes after several of the world's top players staged a protest prior to the recent the French Open by limiting media activities to 15 minutes.

The players were frustrated that prize money at Roland Garros only increased by 9.5 percent from 2025 and stayed at around 15 percent of the revenue generated from the clay-court tournament.

It is believed the players want the prize fund to be closer to 22 percent of the tournament's revenue.

Wimbledon's increase is from £53.5 million last year to £64.2 million for this year's event, which starts in south-west London on June 29.

"I recognise there is one topic you are most interested in hearing about this morning and that's prize money," Wimbledon chair Debbie Jevans told reporters on Thursday.

"For 2026 the prize money fund will be £64.2 million, that is a 20 percent increase on last year and £10.7 million uplift which allows players to continue to share in our success.

"Our support for players is distributed throughout the draw. Gentleman and Ladies singles' champions will each receive £3.6 million and first-round prize money is set at £80,000, so players that lose in the first round will share more than £5 million in prize money.

"These figures represent a substantial increase in prize money."

Wimbledon CEO Sally Bolton met with the players' representative Larry Scott at Roland Garros last month to discuss the prize money issue.

"There has been no dialogue with the players direct but we have had dialogue with Larry Scott, who has been appointed by some of players to represent them," Jevans said.

"We have had dialogue, email exchanges and a meeting in Paris. After Paris you have all read the 22 percent and £70 million, what we have done is right and appropriate.

"We begin looking at prize money in January. We looked at investment in facilities, in grassroots and player prize money. I would hope the players would welcome it."

Zurich: The FIFA has maintained its classification among the highest-ranked international sports organizations, once again securing a place in the top governance tier (A1) in the governance standards assessment conducted by the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF).

FIFA achieved its highest-ever score, receiving 218 points out of 240, an increase of six points compared with the 2024 report. It was one of only 14 international sports federations to be placed in the highest category.

The report praised FIFA's commitment to gender equality and its efforts to strengthen governance standards among its 211 member associations. It also highlighted FIFA's consistent performance in the areas of transparency, integrity, democracy, development and sustainability, and oversight mechanisms.

According to the report, FIFA improved its performance across all evaluation indicators, reflecting its commitment to applying the highest standards of governance throughout its activities.

تعرّض المنتخب الإنجليزي لحادث مفاجئ، بعد سرقة أحذية عدد من نجومه إلى جانب سرقة العديد من معدات الفريق التدريبية، وذلك قبل ساعات من خوض الفريق أولى تدريباته في معسكر كانساس سيتي بالولايات المتحدة، استعدادًا لانطلاق مشواره في كأس العالم 2026.

ووفقًا لوكالات وصحف عالمية فقد وقعت السرقة خلال عملية نقل معدات الفريق من مقر إقامته في فلوريدا إلى معسكره التدريبي في قرية سوب لكرة القدم بولاية ميسوري، وتضمنت المسروقات أحذية لاعبين بارزين في صفوف المنتخب، إلى جانب كرات البطولة الرسمية ومعدات تدريبية أخرى.

وأكدت شرطة كانساس سيتي أنها فتحت تحقيقًا فوريًا في الواقعة، وأعلنت إلقاء القبض على مشتبهين في الحادثة.

وقال متحدث باسم الشرطة لصحيفة الغارديانالبريطانية إن شخصين احتُجزا للاشتباه في تورطهما منذ بداية إجراءالتحقيق في الواقعة .

من جهته، رفض الاتحاد الإنجليزي لكرة القدم التعليق على الواقعة عند التواصل معه من قبل الغارديان، فيما يُتوقع أن يضطر الاتحاد للتنسيق مع الشرطة المحلية لاستعادة المعدات المسروقة، قبل أن يخوض فريق المدرب توماس توخيل أولى تدريباته بمقر إقامته مساء اليومالسبت.

وتأتي هذه الحادثة في وقت حساس جدا بالنسبة للجهاز الفني، الذي وضع خططًا دقيقة لمحاولة قيادة المنتخب نحو لقبه العالمي الأول منذ عام 1966، قبل المواجهة الافتتاحية المرتقبة أمام كرواتيا في دالاس يوم الأربعاء ضمن منافسات المجموعة الثانية عشرة .

وعلى الصعيد الفني، شهد معسكر التأقلم الذي خاضه المنتخب في أجواء فلوريدا الحارة نتائج إيجابية، حيث حقق الفريق الفوز في مباراتين وديتين أمام نيوزيلندا في تامبا، وكوستاريكا في أورلاندو. وكان أداء جود بيلينجهام في المباراة الأخيرة لافتًا، ما عزز حظوظه في الظهور أساسيًا في مركز صانع الألعاب على حساب مورغان روجرز.

Los Angeles, United States: The United States could scarcely have scripted a better start to their World Cup as a Folarin Balogun brace and Gio Reyna curler fired the co-hosts to a 4-1 drubbing of Paraguay in front of Hollywood royalty in Los Angeles on Friday.

The hosts took the lead in the tournament's first game on US soil within seven minutes thanks to an own goal, and by the end of an utterly dominant half the home fans were in dreamland, their side up by three.

Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio and Paris Hilton were among a sold-out 70,492 crowd as the US -- co-hosting the tournament with Mexico and Canada -- piled wave after wave of attacks on the South Americans, with Reyna polishing off the win late in stoppage time after Mauricio had pulled one back.

The win and emphatic scoreline puts the US in a favorable position already to progress from Group D, which also contains Australia and Turkiye.

The night's only potential sour note was the half-time withdrawal of Christian Pulisic, the US attacking talisman who is carrying the hopes of the nation as they attempt a deep run into the World Cup knockouts for the first time since their quarter-final appearance in 2002.

Paraguay could not have been more obliging guests from kickoff. In the seventh minute, Weston McKennie picked up the ball in the center circle and drove upfield, finding Pulisic.

Pulisic darted between two defenders and returned the ball to McKennie, whose pass to striker Balogun was bundled into his own net by a hapless Damian Bobadilla.

The stadium erupted, and a US onslaught began.

The hosts oozed confidence. Both McKennie and Tillman played backheel through balls into the area, while captain Tim Ream sprayed out passes from the heart of defense.

Balogun had a goal ruled out in the 28th minute. He had strayed offside, as had Pulisic in the buildup.

But the Monaco striker had the ball in the net again three minutes later, thanks to a superb ball down the left flank by Antonee Robinson to Pulisic, whose cross to Balogun took a slight fortuitous deflection.

The US added a third on the cusp of half-time. Tillman found Balogun down the right, who evaded Omar Alderete's challenge, skipped inside Gustavo Gomez and curled his shot perfectly into the top left corner.

It could have been four or five, with Chris Richards -- returning from injury -- flashing a header barely an inch wide. The US had 75 percent possession in the first half.

Now without the dangerous Pulisic, the hosts sat back slightly in the second half.

Paraguay finally offered a threat. Their dangerous forward Julio Enciso, who started despite a hamstring injury, picked up the ball on the edge of the area and fed in Brazil-born substitute Mauricio, who pulled one back.

Reyna scored a superb fourth with the outside of his right foot that curled just inside the far post.
