BYRON, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — Senior Night couldn’t have gone better for the Byron Lady Tigers Thursday evening. The four seniors and their teammates wrapped up their regular season with a 56-41 win against Elgin St. Edward.
Prior to the game, Byron senior Macy Groharing was honored for recently becoming the all-time scoring leader at Byron girls basketball. She was joined at mid-quart by the woman who previously held the record of 2,077 points Megan Considine Cline.
Byron will head into regional tournament play next week with a record of 27-2. Watch the media player above for highlights.
