Report – No return date set for injured Real Madrid midfield star

It has been a few weeks since Jude Bellingham picked up a fresh muscle problem that put him out on the sidelines, once again.

The Englishman, who has found it difficult to find his groove after that dreamy debut campaign at the Santiago Bernabeu, has had problems with injuries this season.

The latest setback, therefore, was heartbreaking for a player who was looking to find his footing in the team under new manager Alvaro Arbeloa.

No update on Bellingham’s injury?

Now, as pointed out by journalist Alvaro Esteban, Real Madrid are still yet to set a definitive date for Bellingham’s return from injury despite him being out for three weeks now.

The club did mention him in a team news update recently, confirming that the midfielder was continuing his recovery. But beyond that, the club have remained light-tipped about the issue.

The midfielder has been spotted working on the pitch in recent days, which is a positive step forward. But there is no specific date set for his return at this point. It is, in fact, feared that his recovery might take longer than the one month initially expected.

Esteban confirms that there is no return date set for Bellngham’s injury, meaning he is likely to miss a chunk of the upcoming matches, with a return potentially likely to happen in April.

If that is the case, the midfielder will miss some of Real Madrid’s biggest matches this season, which may decide their fate in both La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.

The player, for his part, will be keen on getting back to the pitch as well, knowing his continued absence may dilute his importance in the England national team, just months before the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
