USD women eye more offensive consistency

VERMILLION, S.D. (KELO) — The USD women are at 10-2 in the Summit League and have won their last five games. However, they have only reached the 70-point mark in half of their conference wins.

With three of their four remaining games against fellow teams in the top-half of the standings, the Coyotes know the importance of scoring the basketball at a high clip.

“Just continuing to refine our offense and and try to find ways to continue to make it versatile and continue to make it difficult to defend,” USD head coach Carrie Eighmey said. “Most teams continue to get better and better on the defensive end throughout the course of the season. So, your offense has got to keep improving as well.”

The Coyotes host Omaha and NDSU this week.
